At Their Nibs, we often talk about prints, fabrics and design details. But recently, founder Fiona and designer Sia found themselves discussing something much simpler: why putting on pyjamas at the end of the day still feels so special.
The phrase that emerged from the conversation was: "Pyjamas are the full stop to your day."
And the more we thought about it, the more it felt true. A Ritual Worth Keeping.

For Fiona, one of life's simple pleasures is a warm bath followed by a comfortable pair of pyjamas. After a busy day, it's a small ritual that signals a shift from work and responsibilities to rest and relaxation. "No matter how many times I do it," says Fiona, "I still really enjoy putting our pyjamas on."
Whether it's a favourite satin set, a comfortable oversized style or simply the feeling of changing into something soft and familiar, there's something comforting about marking the end of the day in this way.
More Than Just Sleepwear
For designer Sia, becoming a mother changed the way she viewed pyjamas completely.
"I knew they were a good product," she explains, "but I didn't fully understand how useful they were until I had Monroe." Suddenly, the details she'd helped design became part of everyday life. The pockets became somewhere to keep her phone. The button-through front offered practicality. Long sleeves provided comfort during late nights and early mornings.
"It all suddenly made sense to me," she says. "The design became relevant to my life." The Importance of Small Comforts As life becomes busier, it's often the smallest rituals that bring the greatest sense of calm.
For some people, it's making a cup of tea.
For others, it's skincare before bed.
And for many of us, it's changing into pyjamas and leaving the day behind.
It's not just about what you wear to sleep. It's about creating a moment for yourself.
- A pause.
- A transition.
- A chance to unwind.
- Designed for Real Life
At Their Nibs, every design decision is made with real life in mind. Beautiful fabrics matter. Hand-drawn prints matter. But so do practical details, comfortable fits and thoughtful features that make our pyjamas a pleasure to wear long after bedtime.
Because the best pyjamas aren't just for sleeping.
They're for:
- Reading on the sofa.
- For bedtime stories.
- For cups of tea in the kitchen.
- For lazy Sunday mornings.
- For all the moments in between.
- The Full Stop to Your Day
As Fiona puts it, changing into pyjamas creates a dividing line between the day and the evening. A gentle signal that work is done. The to-do list can wait. And it's time to slow down.
Perhaps that's why, after all these years, we still believe there's something special about a really lovely pair of pyjamas.
They're not just sleepwear.
They're the full stop to your day.
What does your evening ritual look like?
