MEET OUR TEAM
Meet our wee but mighty team – the people who make Their Nibs so special. In addition to our cosy studio in London, we also have our warehouse in Edinburgh with our packing and customer service team!
Fiona founded Their Nibs in 2003 to bring alive the beautiful prints, original ideas and appealing shapes that inspired her but she couldn’t find anywhere else. Today, she can often be found hunting for even more ideas in Portobello Market accompanied by her son (the original “His Nibs”), her daughter (the real boss) and wise old man dog, Rocket.
Fave pair of Nibs: The white hummingbird, I love matching my little girl in them.
Best thing about having your own business: We donate to the adoption charity Coram and it is an absolute highlight to be able to give back to something that has been so so special to my family.
Sia is our incredible designer whose drawings define our iconic prints. Taking her eclectic inspiration from reading, art history and the wonders of the natural world – including flowers and wild animals – you’ll most often find her wandering through fields learning the names of pretty plants, falling off a surfboard or snuggled up with a good book.
Fave pair of Nibs: The field flowers, it came to life when we were in lockdown and the only place I could go was an outdoor garden centre. The colour and life in the flowers were so comforting to capture.
Best thing about designing for Their Nibs: When an idea turns into a print and becomes a bestseller! I absolutely love seeing my drawings living on people who really enjoy them.
Our London HQ
In our cosy London studio, every print begins as a hand-drawn sketch and every style is dreamt up with you in mind. This is where colour palettes are perfected, fabric swatches are poured over, and shapes are tried and tested - all by our small, women-led team. From the first pencil line to the final design, everything is created with love, care, and a little everyday magic.
OUR EDINBURGH WAREHOUSE
Tucked away in Edinburgh, our small but mighty warehouse team are the hands (and hearts!) behind every order. From carefully packing your pyjamas with love, to making sure customer queries are answered quickly and kindly, this is where the magic of Their Nibs comes to life. Every parcel is wrapped with the same care we’d give a gift to a friend!
We love keeping things close to home. Fiona’s son Finn captures the magic of our collections through videography, while her niece Tabby works her artistry with hair and make-up on our photoshoots. It means every campaign really is a family affair - created with love, laughter, and a personal touch you won’t find anywhere else.
