MEET OUR TEAM
Meet our wee but mighty team – the people who make Their Nibs so special. In addition to our cosy studio in London, we also have our warehouse in Edinburgh with our packing and customer service team!
Fiona founded Their Nibs in 2003 to bring alive the beautiful prints, original ideas and appealing shapes that inspired her but she couldn’t find anywhere else. Today, she can often be found hunting for even more ideas in Portobello Market accompanied by her son (the original “His Nibs”), her daughter (the real boss) and wise old man dog, Rocket.
Fave pair of Nibs: The white hummingbird, I love matching my little girl in them.
Best thing about having your own business: We donate to the adoption charity Coram and it is an absolute highlight to be able to give back to something that has been so so special to my family.
Sia is our incredible designer whose drawings define our iconic prints. Taking her eclectic inspiration from reading, art history and the wonders of the natural world – including flowers and wild animals – you’ll most often find her wandering through fields learning the names of pretty plants, falling off a surfboard or snuggled up with a good book.
Fave pair of Nibs: The field flowers, it came to life when we were in lockdown and the only place I could go was an outdoor garden centre. The colour and life in the flowers were so comforting to capture.
Best thing about designing for Their Nibs: When an idea turns into a print and becomes a bestseller! I absolutely love seeing my drawings living on people who really enjoy them.
Frankie is our creative marketing executive who rescued our social media and marketing efforts in 2023. With her free time, she still spends it on social media if not with her puppy, Lola! With Frankie onboard we can now take on even more exciting projects, collaborations and events. Watch this space!
Fave pair of Nibs: Anything pink and girly like our Pink Peacock Satin Shorties
Fave quote: The best things happen when you least expect them!
"His Nibs" himself! Finn is Fiona's son and the origin behind our name back in 2003. He now towers over us all while helping us with his videography skills. Finn joins us on our photoshoots and anytime we need an extra pair of helping hands.
We love to keep things in the family here at Their Nibs. Tabby is Fiona's niece and also our hair and make-up artist who joins us on all of our photoshoots. She's Fiona and Sia's life-saver when it comes to taking new headshots!
OUR EDINBURGH TEAM
Heather is our warehouse and customer service manager – you'll usually find her answering customers’ queries and questions or fighting with the printer. Her favourite place to be is by the sea and she likes to have a DIY project on the go.
Fave pair of Nibs: It changes with every collection but my current favourite is the Magic Fish shorties. I have my eye on a pair for my summer hols.
Go-to pizza topping: Controversial, but it's pineapple and mushroom. Deal with it.
Fran is our warehouse supervisor and resident kettle queen (she loves a cuppa!). In her free time she is an aspiring fantasy novelist and when she's not writing, she's reading.
Fave pair of Nibs: My Seville Oranges, they feel lovely and cool!
Best advice you've ever been given: Either "Do it for yourself because no one else will" or "Be your own cheerleader".
Beth is our longest-serving pyjama packer and the gift-wrapping guru carefully creating beautiful packages with ribbon and tissue. When she's not at the warehouse, she enjoys singing, playing keyboard and playing with her dog Teddy.
Fave pair of Nibs: 30's Palm satin shorties because they look faaancy!
Personal motto: If you believe, you CAN achieve!
Jen joined us one Christmas to help out with the rush and she's still with us! When she's not packing pyjamas, she’s a singer/songwriter, performing regularly in Edinburgh, a busy mum and enthusiastic gym bunny.
Fave pair of Nibs: The Monkey Business viscose cami because I like the bright colours and tigers, I'm a crazy cat lady at heart.
What's the most played song on your playlist: Neil Young’s “Don’t Let It Bring You Down”.
